How Prema for Teams works
Prema for Teams runs in the Prema app on iOS, Android and the web. There are no calls and no long surveys. Each check-in adds one data point, so team health becomes a number you can track.
Check in at any team moment
The team lead starts a quick check-in at a stand-up, a practice, a staff meeting or a video call. People can also check in any time.
Done in under a minute
Each person shares mood, energy, stress and what would help them this week. The answer is anonymous.
Team health you can measure
Team leads see morale, energy and stress for each team, the Prema EmHealth Score, the trend over time and the top team needs.
Measure more than outputs
Most teams track outputs: revenue, wins, grades or donations. Outputs show what a team did. Prema shows the collective disposition of the team that does the work: its morale, energy, stress and needs.
Outputs you already track
- Business teams. Revenue, deadlines and closed deals.
- Sports teams. Wins, stats and times.
- Schools and colleges. Grades and test results.
- Nonprofits. Donations and people served.
Team health from Prema
- Morale. Each person's mood, added up for the team.
- Energy. How much energy people have left this week.
- Stress. How much pressure people feel this week.
- Team needs. What would help: focus time, clarity, support, recognition or rest.
The Prema EmHealth Score combines morale, energy and stress into one team health score from 0 to 100. A higher score means a healthier team. Prema rests on a simple idea: a healthy team does its best work. Track the EmHealth Score next to your outputs, and you see the full picture.

Help for the person first
If a person's check-ins show distress, Prema offers that person support resources in private, such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

- Benefits and EAP use. When a person's check-ins show distress, Prema offers them your Employee Assistance Program in private.
Nonprofit teams
- Burnout signals. See when staff or volunteer morale drops after a hard campaign or a busy season.
- Keep your volunteers. Track volunteer morale over time, and thank people before they stop coming.
- Reports for your board and funders. Show team health trends next to your program results.

Questions about Prema for Teams
Short answers about team check-ins, the EmHealth Score, the API and privacy.
What is Prema for Teams?
Prema for Teams is a check-in app that shows the collective disposition of a team: morale, energy, stress and needs. Each person checks in from the Prema app on iOS, Android or the web in under a minute. Team leads see the Prema EmHealth Score and anonymous team trends in one dashboard.
Who can use Prema for Teams?
Any group that works, plays or serves together: business teams, nonprofit staff and volunteers, sports teams, faculty and staff at schools and colleges, clubs and faith communities. Prema for Teams is for people age 18 and older.
What does Prema measure?
Each check-in asks about mood, energy, stress and what would help this week. Prema adds up the answers for the team. Team leads see team morale, energy, stress, top needs and the Prema EmHealth Score.
Why measure more than outputs?
Outputs, such as revenue, wins or grades, show what a team did. They do not show the state of the team. Prema shows morale, energy and stress, so you can see strain early and help the team in time.
How does Prema track team health over time?
Every check-in adds one data point. The dashboard shows team health by week and by month, and over a season or a school year. You see when morale, energy or stress change, and which team needs help first.
What is the Prema EmHealth Score?
The Prema EmHealth Score is a team health score from 0 to 100. Prema builds it from the mood, energy and stress in each check-in. A higher score means a healthier team.
How is Prema different from a pulse survey?
A pulse survey is long and usually comes once a quarter. A Prema check-in takes under a minute at a stand-up, a practice or a meeting, so team leads see how each team feels every week.
Can a team lead see what one person answered?
No. Team leads see team scores and trends only. Team leads never see who gave which answer.
Is Prema for Teams anonymous?
Prema shows results only at team level, and only for groups of 5 or more people who checked in. Every person chooses to join and can stop at any time.
Can sports teams use Prema?
Yes. Players check in before practice or after a game. Coaches see team energy, stress and mood across the season, and can plan rest days when the team runs low.
Does Prema diagnose mental health conditions?
No. Prema is not a medical or mental health service. If a person's check-ins show distress, Prema offers that person support resources in private, such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Can I track my own check-ins in the app?
Yes. The Prema app has two tabs. The Personal tab tracks your own mood, energy and movement, and only you can see it. The Teams tab lists every team you belong to. You can save a team check-in to your Personal tracker, or share a personal check-in with your teams. Shared answers stay anonymous.
Does Prema have an API?
Yes. The Prema API sends team-level health data to HR systems, dashboards and chat apps. It never shares individual answers. The API is in development, and pilot customers get early access.
Where is Prema for Teams available?
